Episode 163: Chris #2

Anti-Flag bassist Chris #2 finally stopped by Going Off Track to discuss how the band reconcile their punk ideals while still making a living off their art,  the ingenious way they used major-label money to build a studio and donate to DIY venues in their hometown of Pittsburgh and, finally, how Jonah unintentionally helped facilitate Anti-Flag’s posthumous collaboration with Woody Guthrie. “The political view we’re looking for is humanity and it’s Bill & Ted: Be excellent to each other and save the planet,” Chris #2 sums up when asked about his personal mission statement. “That’s the world I want to live in.” We couldn’t agree more.
