Episode 167: Jordan Dreyer

La Dispute frontman Jordan Dreyer came by Going Off Track for a philosophical discussion about the band’s latest album Rooms Of The House, which centers on the power of inanimate objects and how it relates to a dissolving relationship and shared space. Along the way we discuss the reasons that have kept him living in Michigan, what it’s like for the subjects of his songs to learn that some of their darkest moments have been chronicled in La Dispute’s lyrics and how he’s been able to completely eschew any type of social media profile and what it’s like to live a (relatively) distraction-free life while still maintaining a connection with the band’s ravenous fan base.
